Chapter 3

I like the connection the chapter makes with the linking of neurons is like the linking of computer sites and information. Of course the human brain is more complex than a computer is. We should be making connections with everything we are doing by naturally linking our information together where as a computer can only link things together when we make them. I thought it was cool how we learned how to make a web site with several web pages and learned how to link them together. I can see how that can be a great use in the classroom with putting games for your students on your own web page but have resources from several different places.
I was not sure if I like the idea of putting my lesson plans on the internet for the families. The only reason why I am even going to make them is to remind myself what I am doing and give it to my principal when they want to see it. The lesson plans as well will be so short labeled a parent more than likely will not know what the assignment is they should do. In my class the students will have a planner in their book bag where I can communicate with the parents and have a homework folder where parents will know what the homework is.
This chapter was not that bad to read compared to the first two. It still hurts my eyes to sit and read the screen for several hours as it does take. I feel I still read very slowly on the computer compared to a book.
